Name News
First let’s get to our new name: We really liked H2Oil Recovery Services, Inc. but so do a lot of other companies, including one with that website URL. And, more recently, we realized that our unique technology, a system that conserves and protects the environment through advanced resource recovery, deserves to be recognized with a new name; however, we are keeping H2Oil Recovery Services for our Texas oil recovery operations.

Since our patented mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) evaporation system is at the core of our success, we are emphasizing the temperature at which steam is produced (212°F) and which valuable resources, including distilled water, natural gas condensate, methanol and 10-pound brine are recovered. So from now H2Oil will be doing business as 212Resources. Think of our new name as “resource recovery at the boiling point of water” and how we are helping to address one the world’s most serious problems: water conservation.

Several decades to build a foundation - A few months to achieve stellar success.
212 Resources is, in many ways, the culmination of decades of involvement in waste management by the company’s principals. Add to that the refinement of proprietary, proven technologies uniquely organized in a patented system applied to resource recovery in the energy sector and you’ve got the 212Resources foundation.

The system evolved from ten years of proved installations for such customers as Toyota, Ford, Aisen Warner, Caterpillar, Int'l Paper, YKK, Celanese, NAACO, MARTA, Eaton, Lockheed-Martin, and other multinational companies to create zero-discharge water management. In 2006, we built our own production plant in Andrews, TX. Today the plant is daily demonstrating its ability to recover crude oil and water with extraordinary efficiency and value to provide safe, conservation-minded disposal of our customer’s oil field waste streams. In 2007, we used the experience we’d built in Texas to launch a long-term water recovery project for the natural gas industry in Wyoming.

Strong leaders - Strong backing.
212Resources’ top-level management meets needs that range from engineering, regulatory and public affairs, strong operations management to financial and IT systems.

212Resourecs reunites Jim Schleiffarth, CEO, and Bob Waits, EVP, who started and sold Trackers Services, Inc., a successful nationwide mobile remediation service. In just a few years (1983-88), Tracker Services, Inc. processed over 3,000,000 bbls of hazardous waste emulsions generated from refineries and petro-chemical facilities in the United States and abroad. Following the sale of Tracker in 1988 to Waste Management, Inc. (specifically the Chemical Waste Management subsidiary), Jim and Bob’s work moved to other environmental management areas both domestically and internationally.

After several years, Jim took on a new challenge as the president of Vacom LLC, a company manufacturing and selling 212 Resources’ key technology components. Jim personally developed its patented vapor compression, turbulent flow, flash evaporation system (www.vacomllc.com). H2Oil and 212 Resources were conceived as the service side of Vacom but eventually H2Oil bought the patent and all intellectual propterty rights, which then were granted back to Vacom to sell the system into non-energy related industries.

Mike Zumwalt, CFO, with his extensive executive level operating and financial experience in the hazardous waste industry, joined the company at start-up to raise initial funds and implement its financial development strategy.

Originally funded through significant private investors and then by a Series B round from @Ventures of Silicon Valley and Boston (CGMI), 212 Resources, in addition to its strong equity financing, is now backed by a $250,000,000 GE Capital (Energy Financial Services) credit instrument to fund future development.
