September 1, 2008 - PLANT ENGINEER
212 Resources has an immediate opening for PLANT ENGINEER in Andrews, Texas to plan, oversee, and utilize operations concerned with development, construction, design, and maintenance of the plant
Position Functions:
- Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control testing, operating procedures, inspection and maintenance of equipment accourding to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Direct maintenace of plant buildings and coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
- Utilize CAD and CAM
- Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications
- Insure that approved construction, installation, replacement, and maintenance costs are completed with established company engineering practices
- Identify, develop and design improved operating and control strategies to achieve productivity objectives
- Develop tracking programs and metrics for plant optimization and efficiency, monitor the targets against budget and expected performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or process engineering
- 2 or more years of experience in a closely related field
